It felt like home immediately. Then culture shock hit me. Not being able to fully express yourself or ask a simple question became a burden. I had a close friend m...That was really raw & true. I had a close friend move to Scotland and she went through something so very similar. Her husband worked and went to school there, and she stayed in the whole time. It really did take quite a while to get used to it all. They are getting ready to move back the the States now and she really would rather stay in Scotland!
