Long before Fluttering Butterflies was a book blog, this used to be more of a personal blog in which I discussed memories of my childhood or issues that I hoped to resolve with my mother or of my children and other interests.
I think it's very important to still show that personal side when it comes to blogging. I really feel like it is very easy to become a book blogger and not get to know the person behind the books. I feel like these personal posts that I share on Wednesdays connect me to my readers and I encourage all book bloggers to do the same.
