In three month's time, my little boy will be two years old. Man, does time go quickly. We're already thinking of what to do for his party. Any suggestions? He likes cars and he's very much a people person. All the little details of parties make me stressed out, the food, the goodie bags. It's too much. At least N sorted out Elliot's birthday present.

ReplyDeleteI do all our parties very easy and casual! Less stress for mama! We usually pick a theme and last year it was a "cowboy" theme. We asked everyone to come in western attire (jeans, plaid shirt) and we provided bandanas to all the guests (less than $1 at craft stores!) Food was western-style eats... really easy stuff. Ok, this comment is probably running into annoying! Hope the b-day is a blast!

In late Sept. it will be Mr. P's fifth birthday. We are going to do a pirate theme, yargh! We are going to have a bouncer and other fun stuff.

If you have a lot of family around you could just do a family party. Sometimes that takes the stress off. Last year when my son turned 3 we got him a Spiderman cake and just did pizza.
