Anniversary

So, it's our anniversary today. Well, one of them. One that only I'll remember for the rest of our lives. Today, 6 years ago my husband proposed. Properly, I mean. Technically, it was ME who asked HIM originally. But I kind of just blurted out 'marry me?' one time, and it wasn't romantic at all. So anyway, he flew out to see me, and we had to go to LA to the British Embassy to get all my visa paperwork sorted out before we flew up to Seattle for a little holiday for my 18th birthday the following week. Anyway, while we were in the area, my husband and I went to Disneyland (in the sweltering heat, it was great! no, but it really was) and we stayed for the fireworks display at the end of the day. I absolutely adore fireworks. They're so beautiful! And I couldn't take my eyes off all the colours and everything, and somehow my husband managed to slip off somewhere and buy one of those cute light-up roses for me and then dragged me to right in front of that pretty purple castle in Disneyland, got down on knee and proposed. (I said 'yes') I thought it was very sweet. Wish I could post a picture, but that photo album was packed ages ago. Anyway, Happy Anniversary to me :)
