Summer reading pile



Does your reading change over the summer months?  Do you have a dedicated summer reading pile? I would love to hear about it.  Here are mine!

I've been thinking about vlogging for awhile. What I'd really like to do is to start up a collab vlog channel that talks mostly about YA books.  Get a group together and alternate the days? I've mentioned it on Twitter a few times but nobody has really stepped forward to say 'yes, let's do that together!' ... So if you're interested, please do leave a comment or email me.

    You're such a natural, Clover! I commented on the actual video a few days ago so will make this comment brief.
    I love the sound of a collab channel and would love to be a part of it. I've seen them for other subjects and think it would work really well.

    Ooh, I like the vlog, you're much better than I was! And was that all in one take? I'm very impressed :D I have Shipwrecked to read too, and I saw After Iris at a reading roadshow in Cardiff last week - it looks so sad!

      Thanks Anya! Yes, it was all one take, I'm getting better at it...

      Shipwrecked sounds like a blast. And yes, After Iris does sound like it'll be sad, but I like that every once in awhile!

    Shipwrecked looks interesting, I really like Siobhan Curham's books. I have City of Bones on my TBR pile so that will be on my summer reading list too. Happy reading!

    You vlog so well! Gloss looks really good and not one I've heard of before. I think contemporaries are perfect for summer, and nice to see you've picked something as a reread :)

      Oh definitely! I like reading contemporaries at any time of the year, but especially during the summer :)

      And I'm trying really hard to schedule some re-reading into my reading plans!

    I tend to go for contemporary, romantic YA during the summer. It's probably me living voraciously through these characters in gorgeous summery places with gorgeous boys...

    You've made me want to re-read CoB now! I want it to be fresh for the film.
