Read fewer books in 2015
I will be joining the Goodreads reading challenge 2015 but for the past 4 years I've aimed for (and managed slightly higher than) 200 books. But I want 2015 to be pressure-free. So I think I'll only put 100 books down this year. I love the idea of reading fewer books this year.
As you all should know by now, I'm hosting the British Books Challenge 2015. A major goal is definitely to keep this challenge running smoothly with some interesting posts but also to read as many books by British authors as I can. I'll do my best. And do sign-up if you haven't already!
I've been saying this a lot when it comes to my commenting on other blogs ... but I really should read more middle grade books. I think there are some fab MG books about and I'd really like to share some of them with you all. And also with my boys who will, of course, benefit from this resolution as well.
I wrote a blog post recently in which I pledged to read more books that celebrate diversity and I'm really hoping to stick with that. I think that all the support is needed to raise a spotlight on those books that have characters with diverse backgrounds and abilities and sexualities etc. I'm really looking forward to expanding my reading in this way and will have regular blog posts with my discoveries!
Love Letters to Libraries
I recently saw on Twitter that an author had written a love letter to their library and I thought (along with my recent employment status) that it might be fun to start a new blog series doing more of the same. Libraries are amazing and I think they need all the love and support they can get!
What are your 2015 resolutions?
