I love staring at Boy when he's asleep like this. He looks so peaceful, I wish I could sleep that soundly. But sometimes, I also worry so much that maybe he's stopped breathing. Will I ever stop worrying that my son is safe?

When they ask me what I liked best, I'll tell them, it was you
I think even when they're adults we'll still be worrying, that's parenthood.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you ever stop worrying about your babies!
ReplyDeleteThe answer to your question and you already know the answer, is NO. The worrying never stops. It's the things that you worry about that changes but that's part of being a parent! I've heard it gets worse too!
ReplyDeleteShe definitely knew what she liked.
ReplyDelete- Pajamas?
- Flannel, with feet.
Awwww, so sweet. No, Lil' Duck is almost two and I still worry.
ReplyDeleteWhen ours turn a year old we stop worrying. On our son's year birthday we sang Barry Manilow's, "LOOKS LIKE WE MADE IT..." - with full cheese and we relaxed. Our younger girl will be one in two weeks. (I hope the neighbors have their ear plugs ready!)
ReplyDeleteAwwww, he looks so peaceful! I love watching my son sleep too. Even after I've been with him all day, then put him to bed, I still like to look at him and admire his sleeping beauty.
