Happy New Year

Happy New Year! I know this is about a week late, but seriously - I've been really dragging my feet about posting anything lately. I think I needed a good long break, and I've had it now, so prepare for a return to the normal blogging schedule. I'd been mulling over my New Year's resolutions since about mid-December and I'm almost ready to post them. Just not yet. I've finally finished reading 20 Times a Lady, and LOVED it - but not as much as I loved, loved, loved Wicked! I'm in love with everything about it - the actual story (which I haven't read yet) the music, the set, the whole feel of the play. I'm on a mission to get a copy of the book now and read it as quickly as possible (and the sequel if possible). N and I made it a date, going into London, having a meal, then the play. It was very nice, we don't get a lot of opportunities to be date-like, and it was a nice day (even though I went with my cute brown high heels instead of something more practical and we had to RUN through Clapham Junction to get to the right platform on time) but more later... oh, and here's a picture of how I saw in the new year - in front of the telly with a sleeping baby! Elliot actually managed to stay up until about 15 or 20 minutes before midnight, I couldn't believe it!
