Books read in January

1. Princess Diaries - Ten Out of Ten by Meg Cabot
2. A Mercy by Toni Morrison
3. Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
4. Affinity by Sarah Waters
5. The New York Trilogy by Paul Auster
6. The Tales of Beedle the Bard by JK Rowling
7. Airhead by Meg Cabot
8. Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
9. Ten Things I Hate About Me by Randa Abdel-Fattah
10. Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret by Judy Blume

I've enjoyed reading this month. I enjoy reading every month, but this month felt different somehow, special. Maybe it's other things making me feel great, who knows? but I'm thinking it's because I treasured my reading more. I made special time for it. In the past, I've spent my free time on my blog, or catching up on the sky+ box. This month I didn't watch as much TV as I normally do and I was enjoying that. I wrote more scheduled posts and turned off the computer. I liked spending an hour or two at the end of the day reading a good book. It was relaxing and good for my soul. I'm hoping this will continue. How about you?

  2. I always read at the end of the day. I make sure everything is done by about half eight and then sit and read till bedtime. I usually Sky+ anything I want to watch. I am glad you enjoyed your reading this month.

  3. Judy Blume... my favorite author growing up. I read all of her books multiple time, and even owned most of them at one time.

  7. S Krishna - I thought it was just OK.

Lisa - I liked it and I didn't like it. I picked up another book by the same author recently and hated it. Bit of hit or miss.

Misty - thank you, I was impressed at least.

Alexa - You've got good taste in books!

GreenJello - I think I mostly read her stuff for younger readers because I didn't read Forever (and even hadn't heard of it) until I was in my 20s!

Scrap Girl - Things get out of control with our Sky+ and it's difficult because a lot of the things we record are for both N and I to watch together. If I'm studying that makes things worse..

    Nymeth - oh, me too.
