Desperate
It's been almost 7 months since I've given up McDonalds. I didn't even WATCH the McLibel programme, I just heard about it, and haven't been back since. I miss it. The different flavour McFlurries, the Big Breakfasts, the Big Mac. Sometimes I pass it on the High Street and think, maybe if I just pop in, no one'll know. That is, apart from me of course. And I'd feel bad. Damn conscience.

Read Eric Schlosser's Fast Food Nation. You won't miss it anymore. Well done for giving it up though. I gave it up about two years ago and the only thing I miss is the hash browns when I'm hungover.
ReplyDelete2 years! Oh no, that'll be me if I don't give in. And now that you mention it, I am rather fond of their hashbrowns. I do have Fast Food Nation, one of the few (very few!) books that my husband owns (how did I marry a man who doesn't like to read?!?) I think I'll give it a go, if you think it'll help in my times of weakness :)
