So everytime my dad sends a box for Boy, he sends me something. The last time, he sent three bags of saltwater taffy, four bags of Bit-o-honey (which I adore) and 4 boxes of Junior Mints on some misguided notion that my husband likes mint chocolates. Junior Mints really must be the most disgusting sweet ever invented. Anyway, I love saltwater taffy, and I'm such a dork, that everytime I eat the stuff, I'm reminded of that Friends episode (I'm not sad at all, but it's The One With the Birthing Video) and Ross giving Phoebe her first piece and her saying 'what the mother of crap is up with this?' and if there's someone out there who actually hasn't seen Friends (like my dad) I love sharing the 'it's made from salted fresh water' piece of trivia.

ReplyDeleteFriends was on of my favorite shows.. I'm sad it gone, but i get to see plenty of reruns.. I love the saltwater taffy on the coast of oregon. Whenever I go back I make my mom take me to get some.. =)
