Magenta Orange
I remember this book from when I was working at WHSmith, and one of my colleagues had thought it was a general fiction book instead of quite obviously a children's book (just look at the cover people) and filed it wrong so when this little awkward brace-wearing girl came in looking for it, I couldn't find it. It's aimed at a younger target audience (I think) than I'd normally read, but it was in the pile of withdrawn stock at the library, so I thought I'd pick it up (it was 10p, I picked it up plus three other books I've already read). It's OK. It was good for a distraction whilst I'm still muddling through The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Yes, the book I just CANNOT for the life of me get into. I feel like I should really be enjoying it, but I still don't think it's funny.

My sister is SOOO into that book and they rented the movie so I could watch it when I visited her... I can't get into it either. Maybe if you watch the movie you'll be able to get into it. It was odd, but some of it was kind of funny.
