This is the blanket that was on my bed for most of my childhood. It was given to me by one of my mother's friends back when we were living in Alaska, and it was one of the first 'grownup' presents I had recieved and I treasured it! When it got to be more frayed and well-worn through the years, it stayed at the foot of my bed. In our old house, it was draped over a rocking chair. I have yet to find the perfect place for it in our new house, but I shall keep searching.
My dad used to keep all of his spare coins in this chunky glass vase in the kitchen, and I used to love swirling my hands in all the change. So I started keeping all of my spare change in one place too. One year, just before I moved here to England, my dad took me to the county fair, and bought me this piggy bank.
Sorry for the poor quality photo, but I keep this on a really high shelf away from Little Boy hands! It's a music box that was given to me by my father for my 21st birthday. I've never had really girly things before, but secretly always wanted to have something pink and beautiful like this carousel!
And last, but not least, The Guys. These are The Guys that have been wtih me and N for years, and I love them so much that I might just start a weekly feature called ... Meet the Guys Monday and give you all their stories. They really mean a lot to us, but sadly since Elliot was born, they've been somewhat cast aside, Sorry Guys!
