Would you buy things from me?

Ever since I gave up work, I've been looking for ways to bring in some money aside from going back to work. I've tried selling unused items around the house on ebay, which was short-lived, and since then, I've been looking for something that would last a bit longer. I don't have any special skills, like jewellery-making or anything, but I really want to do SOMETHING. Here are the options I've found ... selling Usborne books or selling Phoenix cards. I'm not sure how viable it is to try and sell both, but let me ask you - would you buy either from me? How good do you think either option is for me? I need help and advice!

  1. Usborne books! I still have a load of the ones from when I was younger as they're bloody brilliant.

  2. I think I'd go with Usborne books if I were you. Then again, I've never heard of Phoenix cards.
I'm in a similar situation ... and I just opened an etsy store, but not too many people are buying yet! Oh well!
Good luck whichever route you chose =)

  3. Oooh, that's tough one. If you are going to do either one, won't you have to seriously market yourself and what you do to direct traffic, so to speak, to your business? If you are that kind of person and I know a few who are, then I say go for either one. If you're like me and are a bit shy talking to people especially about something like this, then you may want to go another route. Just an angle.

  4. I'd say Usborne too. I considered doing it a while ago, but I didn't drive at the time so that was too limiting.

I haven't heard of Phoenix Cards so I'd be wary of that.

    Good luck! :)
