Donkey Sanctuary

I feel like it's been awhile since I shared with you my donkey collection. I have a rather sizeable collection of Eeyores in my house. Longtime readers of this blog will know that. It's only been since Christmastime though, that they've had any space to be seen. Thankfully, N was good enough to put some shelves up during some of his free time. I think we will still need one or two (three or four? ten?) more shelves up, but I'm grateful for what I have.

These two donkeys are my latest acquisitions, given to me by Santa/N. Aren't they pretty? You can't really see the smaller one's pointy red elf shoes or the larger one's gorgeous scarf, but I'm sure you can imagine them.

Above the sofa in the computer room. These shelves used to hold boring computer language books. I think this is a vast improvement.

The main donkey shelves above the computer. I love using the computer now and being able to look up and see donkey after donkey. It makes me happy.

And finally, the overflow onto the windowsill and on top of the TV in the computer room. They probably won't stay there permanently, but hopefully they'll continue to stay in the same room. Maybe another time I'll share some of the more unusual donkeys in my collection...?

  3. That's quite a collection! I have quite a few stuffed animals myself, but there's no running theme about the kind.

  4. Your collection makes mine look very insignificant! All my Eeyores are still packed from the move..

  5. Wow - what a collection. I have never seen so many different Eeyores. Even in the Disney stores. May your collection keep on growing.
