The Night Itself by Zoe Marriott - a blogger reading

Oooh! Today I bring you this exciting new video of a bunch of awesome bloggers reading aloud a section of The Night Itself by Zoe Marriott, not published until July.  I was incredibly lucky to both read a copy well before most other people AND that the lovely Hannah, publicist for Walker Books asked me to take part in this video.

I really LOVED The Night Itself. I loved the characters and their relationships together and I cannot wait for more people to read this story and fall in love like I did. If you want to read more about my thoughts on the book, my review of it is here.

The video below is of the main character, Mio's, first interaction with this ancient and powerful sword that has been under her family's protection for generations.  I hope you're just as excited to read the book and find out more about this story after seeing this video...

    1. Thanks Jenni :) It was so much fun to do! N was supposed to help by filming me, but he was working late and the deadline was looming ... so I had to stack a bunch of books for my camcorder to rest on and filmed it myself. I had to delete more than 20 minutes of film because I'd fluffed my words and yelled swear words!

    1. Thank you Lucy :) I thought it was quite fun listening to everyone's accents as well.

I'm not a huge fan of my accent. I sound like one of those people trying to put on an English accent. Like I'm trying too hard when I'm really not. That's just how I sound now :(
