It's been a busy week, with Thanksgiving, my son's birthday and birthday party so I am fairly surprised that I finished a book this week, especially as I've had the most rotten reading slump after In Search of Adam... Here's the pitiful list of books finished this month:
1. Finding Violet Park by Jenny Valentine (which has almost inspired me to start writing my own YA novel)
2. The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness (possibly my favourite book of the whole year)
3. Peter Pan In Scarlett by Geraldine McCaughrean (OK, but I struggled with it towards the end)
4. In Search of Adam by Caroline Smailes (absolutely heartbreaking and so powerful I almost didn't read anything else all month)
5. Stop in the Name of Pants by Louise Rennison (I heart Georgia Nicolson!)(and also Dave the Laugh)
So there we have it. December is going to be crazy as well, so I don't have high hopes for larger numbers next month. I did read a bit this morning whilst Boy 1 and N were out shopping and Littlest was asleep ... Ruby Red by Linzi Glass, but I have to say, my Google Reader has had a lot more action today than any book...
Ooh! I really liked The Knife of Never Letting Go as well!
