Waiting on Wednesday (6)

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Ooh. I'll have to admit, I've not read anything yet by Lucy Christopher. I've had Stolen on my TBR pile for far longer than I'd care to admit.  But still, I'm very much looking forward to reading this her latest book. Psychological thrillers are one of my favourite things to read.

The Killing Woods by Lucy Christopher is being published by Chicken House in October 2013!

Emily’s dad is accused of murdering a teenage girl. Emily is sure he is innocent, but what happened that night in the woods behind their house where she used to play as a child? Determined to find out, she seeks out Damon Hillary the enigmatic boyfriend of the murdered girl. He also knows these woods. Maybe they could help each other. But he’s got secrets of his own about games that are played in the dark.

A new psychological thriller from the award-winning and bestselling author of STOLEN and FLYAWAY.

  3. Oh wow, this sounds really intense! I don't normally go for that kind of book, but this one definitely sounds far too good to pass on, so I'll definitely be adding it to my tbr. Thanks for sharing!
