Introducing Love month

Let Love month begin! I can hardly believe that it's February already - as you may already know, I've decided to let love take over Fluttering Butterflies for the entire month. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to explore the different aspects of romantic love. You don't have to be in a relationship to appreciate a good love story, right? My original aim for this Love month event was to make people happy, to put a smile on someone's face, and I hope that I achieve this during February! (You'll let me know, right?)

I've been reading like crazy to provide you all with some wonderful YA love stories. Lots of contemporaries, some paranormals, some in a series, some that are very funny. I've tried really hard to get the mix right. Some are newly published here in the UK, some only seem available by ordering online, some should be widely available. So far, I'm having a great time and can't wait to tell you all about them!!

(here are just a small list of books I hope to review this month!) Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins, My Name Is Memory by Ann Brashares, Perfect You by Elizabeth Scott, A Match Made in High School by Kristin Walker, Low Red Moon by Ivy Devlin, Siren by Tricia Rayburn and The Iron King by Julie Kagawa.

Book reviews aside, I've got some very exciting things planned for you, but I haven't been doing this on my own. I sent out requests for guest posts a few weeks ago, and I am thrilled, honoured and excited to welcome so many wonderful guest bloggers to Fluttering Butterflies this month:

Jo from Once Upon a Bookcase and Ink and Paper

Luisa Plaja, awesome author of Extreme Kissing, Split By A Kiss and Swapped By A Kiss and editor of Chicklish

Vivienne from Serendipity

Sya from The Mountains of Instead

Kirsty from The Overflowing Library

Stephanie Burgis, fab author of A Most Improper Magick

Laura from Sister Spooky: Book Fangirl

Lyndsey from Heaven Hell and Purgatory Book Reviews

Emma from ASAMUM BOOKTOPIA

Susan K Mann from the blog of the same name! :)

Susie Day, fabulous author of Girl Meets Cake and Big Woo

Suey from It's All About Books

Ali McNamara, amazing author of From Notting Hill, With Love ... Actually

John O'Halloran who shares his Poetry and Writing on his blog of the same name

...And many more. I'm hoping to hear back about several other interesting and relevant guest posts in the coming weeks. If you aren't already following these bloggers, or aware of these awesome authors, I do suggest you stop now and subscribe/follow/add their books to your wishlists. Each one of these people are absolutely incredible and you are in for a treat this month.

AND! Because we're all about giving here, I will also be giving you the opportunity to win some amazing books over the next few weeks. Stay tuned, you don't want to miss out on any of the fun. So far, giveaway books include a beautiful hardback copy of Delirium by Lauren Oliver, generously donated by Hodder Children's and Girl Meets Cake by the lovely author herself, Susie Day. But more will be revealed as we go along.

If at any time, you would like to your own post about love or if you have or will be writing a review of a love-centric book, YA or otherwise this month, for your blog or wherever, a Mr Linky will be up tomorrow. Please do join in the fun! I really, really hope that you enjoy Love month...
